A MESSAGE FROM FR. TOM AND FR. DAN
Dear Friends in Christ,
Welcome to Faith In Our Future! Actually, we believe you have always had Faith In Our Future, in the future of our wonderful Catholic Church, and in the future of St. Francis Borgia Parish. But now is when we really need you to show it.
This Faith In Our Future campaign is crucial. It is our last, best, most promising, and most exciting opportunity to support Catholic education and faith formation throughout the Archdiocese of Milwaukee, and to finally build our own badly needed, long awaited Education and Activity Center. But we cannot do it without you.
In our 2006 capital campaign, called In the Spirit of the Future, we raised more than $3.5 million in cash, with some pledges still coming in. Thank you! But that takes us only halfway to our goal of building an $8 million facility that will serve us for decades to come. More than 600 children in Christian Formation, almost 400 children in Saint Francis Borgia School, more than 300 teenagers, and hundreds of adults will come daily and weekly to use the gymnasium, library, classrooms, and athletic fields at the north campus. And we will be a one-campus parish! Isn’t this worth your support?
Remember the old good news/bad news jokes? Here is another one. The pastor told the parish one Sunday the good news was, we have the $4.2 million we need. The bad news was, it is still in your pockets.
Will you open your heart and your pockets, and help us achieve our dream? That’s having Faith In Our Future.
