Communications Committee
The communications committee works in the parish and community
at large to help publicize and promote all aspects of parish life through
various media, including print and electronic media, photography, press
releases, etc. and through assistance with events. The committee provides
assistance to the parish council and other parish organizations as needed.

The Messenger newsletter is published throughout the year to keep all St. Francis
Borgia parishioners informed about parish activities, to foster a greater
sense of parish community and to provide spiritual guidance and inspiration.

The website committee’s mission is to build, maintain, and operate a
website that informs, educates, inspires, and serves as a vehicle for communication
within our parish, school, and greater Catholic faith community.

Parish directories of different types are prepared and published as reference
for contacting fellow parishioners, parish staff, and coordinators of the
various parish ministries, committees and organizations.

Parish election assistance is provided, primarily in terms of publishing biographies
of candidates.

Time and Talent surveys periodically offer parishioners the opportunity to
become involved in parish committees, events and organizations. Other surveys
are done as needed.

Volunteer fairs are held periodically to give parishioners the chance to meet
volunteers from many parish committees and organizations, to learn more about
those groups that interest them, and to sign up for ministries, committees,
groups or activities if desired.
