We assist grieving families by making the arrangements for funeral dinners
held in the SFB-North Church Hall.Back to

Volunteers are involved in one or more of the following activities:
- Call the family to choose the menu and set the time
- Pick up food from a local delicatessen
- Arrange for jellos, salads and desserts to be provided
by parish volunteers
- Arrange for set-up and assist with clean-up of the parish
hall

The time commitment varies according to the number of funerals in a given
time period and what you volunteer to do. Daytime availability is generally
needed for the meal itself, although occasionally the funeral and the
meal are held in the evening. However, arrangements could be taken care
of in the evenings.
