Mission
We tend to the spiritual needs of our parishioners who are elderly, homebound, in assisted living situations or in nursing homes. We help keep contact with these parishioners; in a sense we become their advocate to the parish. There are three different ministries:

• Visit the institution-bound
• Visit the homebound
• Be available as an alternate.
  

Skills Needed
Just a smile, a touch or pleasant conversation to fulfill that particular day. The homebound may need help with grocery shopping, fixing meals, washing or just visiting.

Training
No training is required. You will be paired up to a person and then introduced to see if the fit is good. This becomes like an adoption.

Time Commitment
One hour per week. You can set a time that is convenient for you and the person you are visiting.
