Mission
The Uganda committee is building parish social, cultural and spiritual ties with our sister parish-- St. Paul the Apostle Parish in Mukono, Uganda. These ties include pen pal relationships, photo exchanges, and other ongoing activities. Members of the two parishes maintain regular contact with one another, and ongoing projects by various parish groups on both sides contribute to this steadily growing relationship. Personal visits have been made by St. Francis Borgia parishioners (in 2001 and 2006) and by St. Paul Mukono parishioners in 2003.

Financial Support From SFB
Our parish provides financial support to St. Paul the Apostle Parish in Mukono, Uganda on the first Sunday of each even-numbered month (i.e., February, April, June, August, October and December). Baskets are provided at the church entrances at all Masses (both Saturday and Sunday) for this purpose. In addition, the parish will contribute 1% of our “In the Spirit of the Future” Building Fund Appeal over five years to construct a primary school in Mukono.
