Mission
To build, maintain, and operate a website that informs, educates, inspires and serves as a vehicle for communication within our parish, school, and greater Catholic Community.
Skills Needed
We are currently seeking people to work on maintaining the web site as
well as people to work on new features. The range of skills needed
is quite wide, but we specifically need people with the following technical
skills:
- Moderate HTML expertise for conversion of electronic content and insertion into a database and for editing of existing static content.
- Moderate to Advanced DHTML expertise for development of dynamic navigation system.
- Moderate to Advanced PHP and MySQL expertise for development of specific dynamic site features.
- HTML expertise for maintaining existing static content, including file download/upload, file modification, and CSS experience.
A development site has been established away from the public site. Volunteers will likely need to load some common software for working on web sites (we’ll help you!!). For the more technically inclined, it is fairly straightforward to create the entire environment on a home machine.
Time Commitment
Time commitment is up to you. There’s plenty to do!
