Eucharist

The Sacrament of the Eucharist is celebrated regularly on Sunday and weekdays. (See the Mass Schedule for times and locations.) Eucharistic Ministers also take the Eucharist to area nursing homes and to the homebound. Those who wish Communion brought to their homes should contact the parish office.

First Eucharist - is ordinarily received when children are in the second grade. Preparation is completed as a part of the Christian Formation program, or if the child is a student at SFB School, as a part of the year’s curriculum. Preparation includes sessions with the parents and children to supplement the classroom instruction. First Eucharist is a sacrament of initiation and, as such, is celebrated during the Easter Season.
