Additional Information
Eucharistic Ministers for Nursing and Care Facilities distribute Holy
Communion to those who live at Lasata, Cedar Springs and Cedar Gardens
Care Centers.
To serve in this ministry, you must have received the sacrament of Confirmation.
Observation and training will be provided at a time convenient to all
parties. When needed, a meeting is called or information that is pertinent
to the volunteers is sent.
At Lasata
- Our parish serves on the first and third
Sundays each month and 2 fifth Sundays per year. We alternate this
ministry with St. Joseph’s
Parish, Grafton.
- We ask for a commitment of just one Sunday
per month (first or third Sunday) or to be on a substitute list to
fill in for the fifth Sundays
or when others cannot make it.
- The hours are 8:30 a.m. (until 9:30 or
10:00 a.m.)
At Cedar Springs or Cedar Gardens
- We serve these care centers every Sunday.
- We ask for a commitment of just one Sunday
per month or to be on a substitute list to fill in when others cannot
make it.
- The hours are 10:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m.
