Sacrament of Reconciliation

The Sacrament of Reconciliation (confession) is normally available:

• Wednesday, Thursday and Friday mornings at 8:30 a.m. at SFB-South
• Saturday afternoons (except on holiday weekends) at 4:00 p.m. at SFB-North
• Or by appointment.

Penance services, including the opportunity for individual confession, are usually held at one of the Cedarburg-Grafton parishes during Advent and Lent. Check the parish calendar to find out whether any penance service is currently scheduled. A description of penance services is in the Advent 2001 newsletter.

First Reconciliation is ordinarily celebrated when children are in the second grade. Preparation is completed as part of the Christian Formation program, or if the child is a student at SFB School, as a part of the year’s curriculum. Preparation includes sessions with the parents and children to supplement the classroom instruction. First Reconciliation is usually celebrated during Lent.
