Prayer and Worship
Our mission is to strengthen the faith and spirituality of our parish community and enhance our relationship with God, through the beauty of prayer, the richness of our Catholic liturgy and the glory of worship and song. This committee meets monthly to discuss the various aspects of our liturgies and liturgical ministries. The different ministries are represented at each meeting. Parish Activities and Outreach
This parish-wide committee encompasses representatives from all Human Concerns ministries and members of the parish at large. They coordinate volunteers and determine financial assistance of our parish in the broader community. For more details and contact information, see the

Christian Formation
This committee supports the formation programs by sharing insights, reviewing materials and recruiting volunteers for ad hoc committees for short term events. The time commitment involves meetings and providing additional assistance as needed for program events such as phone calls, set-up, promotion and advertising. Meetings are held three times per year. This committee consists of adults who are interested in enhancing a comprehensive model of youth ministry. Meetings are held 4-6 times per year. Adults are needed to assist in various youth activities: chaperones for retreats, social and service activities, and summer mission trips. For details and contact persons, see the

This committee promotes vocations to the ministerial priesthood, permanent diaconate, and religious life from among the young men and women of St. Francis Borgia. The committee does this by sponsoring, providing, and facilitating such activities as field trips, promotional materials, discussion groups, guest speakers, phone calling, and appreciation awards, as directed by the parish priest. Finance/Administration
The finance committee discusses the financial issues of the parish and advises the pastor and parish council. The committee meets six times per year based on need, typically the fourth Thursday of the month at 8:30 a.m. For details and contact persons, see the

These volunteers count the weekly offering every Monday morning. The time commitment is approximately 1-2 hours per month, depending on the number of teams. For details and contact persons, see the

Communications
This committee has the general mission of assisting the parish with communications. A possible project is to assist with the preparation of periodic electronic newsletters. Volunteers with skills in writing, editing, photography, electronic communications, website work, etc. are welcome. Time commitment will depend on the activities chosen by the committee and the interests and skills of committee members. Meetings will be held as needed. For details and contact persons, see the

The parish office maintains a list of volunteers who are able to help during the day with these projects. Parish mailings are done throughout the year and volunteers are called approximately one week in advance. Bulletins occasionally need to be stuffed with inserts on Friday mornings. We document parish activities and events through photographs, and assist with the publication of the photos on the parish website or in other printed media as needed. Photographers volunteer to cover specific events. Editors follow-up to select photos for publication. There is no specific time commitment and meetings are held on an as-needed basis. We will help to promote the parish and its website, both internally to our parishioners and externally to the greater Cedarburg community. This is a new committee, so there is no set schedule for meetings. The time commitment will depend on your interest and your time availability. For details and contact persons, see the

Our mission is to build, maintain, and operate a website that informs, educates, inspires and serves as a vehicle for communication within our parish, school, and greater Catholic community. The time commitment is flexible-either short or long-term involvement. Volunteers are needed for technical as well as content management. For details and contact persons, see the

On occasion, the parish has need of graphic artist skills to help promote events within our parish. Volunteers would be contacted on an as-needed basis. . For details and contact persons, see the

Volunteers are needed to help promote specific events within our parish through the use of hand-made posters and signs. Volunteers would be contacted on an as-needed basis. For more information, contact the parish office.
This committee meets regularly throughout the year to discuss ways in which we can nurture stewardship within our parish. This committee helps to organize the Ministries Fair in the fall. As part of that event, the time and talent book needs to be updated and possibly re-designed every year. Other ideas are discussed and implemented throughout the year. The chairperson or people are in contact with the archdiocese and are given all the information needed to run the stewardship appeal. 2-3 messages are given at Mass throughout the year, including the kick-off weekend plus one or two follow up messages. For details and contact persons, see the

At the end of most months, new members are invited to attend a registration meeting where they receive information about our parish and other ministry leaders of our parish officially welcome them. Facilitators are needed to run these meetings. The materials are already prepared and a script is provided. Time commitment is approximately 30 minutes once or twice a year.
