Child Care Help Needed for Moms Group on Thursdays

When: Once or twice per month on Thursday mornings
What:

The Moms Group which meets at SFB-North twice a month is looking for more help with childcare. If you have about 1.5 hours during Thursday mornings once or twice per month, and enjoy the fun and energy of toddlers, this job is for you! A small stipend is offered. Please consider supporting this ministry.

Donate Warm Clothing and Other Items for Repairers of the Breach

Where: Items can be placed in the container in the gathering area of the church.
What:

Besides offering homeless adults daytime safety, Repairers of the Breach becomes an emergency 24-hour warming room whenever temperatures are life-threatening. For those served at night, and for the large numbers of people assisted during daytime hours, there is an emergency need for these items, either in new or gently-used condition: •   Mittens and gloves •   Warm hats and scarves •   Coats - all sizes (especially 2X, 3X and Tall for adult men and women) •   Long underwear (all adult sizes) •   Warm socks •   Hooded sweatshirts •   Small packages of tissues •   Lip balm and Vaseline •   African American hair products •   Cough drops and throat lozenges •   Feminine products •   Blankets (all sizes). Items can be placed in the container in the gathering area of the north church. Thank you for your generosity.

South Church Preservation Committee Needs Volunteers

What:

A South Church Preservation Committee, which would meet to develop and discuss ideas for preserving, promoting, and protecting our South Church is being formed. The preservation committee would explore ideas to promote the church, to find people to volunteer to keep up the church, to use the space to better advantage, to open the church more to the community, and to ensure its future viability. People with creative ideas are needed.

Families are needed to host three young adult men who are NET team members for an overnight stay in Cedarburg. NET is an international traveling retreat team of young adults.

Cast and Crew Needed for "Living Stations of the Cross"

When: The presentation will be Friday, March 16.
Where: St. Francis Borgia-North Church
What:

We are looking for teens to become members of the cast and crew for our presentation of the Living Stations of the Cross. Adult assistance is also appreciated. This special dramatization expresses the passion and death of our Lord Jesus. The teens will reenact the final moments of Christ’s life with a living portrayal of each station set to personal reflection and music. Join in by reading, acting, or sharing your musical gifts. Rehearsals are Sunday March 4 and March 11 at 7 p.m. and Friday, March 16 at 4 p.m.

Volunteers Needed at Cedar Gardens

When: Fridays at 9:30 a.m.

What:

More people are needed to help with the Communion service/ and recitation of the Rosary at Cedar Gardens. Individuals and families are welcome. Many hands make the job easier.

Donations of New Baby Items Are Needed

When: February 11 to 26
Where: A crib will be set up in the gathering area of the North Church
What:

The SFB Women’s Guild will hold their annual collection of baby items to help support The Women’s Care Center (formerly called The Pregnancy Help Center) in Milwaukee. The collection is for new items only. Please watch the sales and buy anything that a baby needs except toys, books and stuffed animals. Suggestions are: diapers up to size 4, blankets, quilts, sleepers, sweaters, undershirts, snowsuits, bottles, formula, etc. Please help support these mothers and help their babies who have been saved from abortion.
