All are invited to the annual Archdiocesan Respect Life Mass and Reception on Monday, Jan. 22 to observe the National Day of Penance and Prayer for Life. Catholics across the Archdiocese will join in fellowship to pray in penance for violations to the dignity of the human person committed through acts of abortion and for the full restoration of the legal guarantee of the right to life, from conception to natural death.
In conjunction with the event, the archdiocese is conducting a diaper drive to assist families raising newborns, infants or toddlers. Attendees are encouraged to bring a donation which will be distributed by the Christ Child Society throughout the community.
The event will take place at Blessed Savior Parish, 8545 W. Villard Ave. in Milwaukee. The rosary will be prayed at 6:30 p.m. Mass begins at 7 p.m. and the reception will follow immediately after Mass. No registration is necessary.
