Maintenance Mechanic– full time 40-hours weekly
The primary function is to perform maintenance and repairs to building, heating ventilation, air conditioning equipment and grounds at the Mary Mother of the Church Pastoral Center, Archbishop’s residence and other properties as assigned.
Qualifications – High school diploma or equivalent. Prior maintenance experience is required. Valid Wisconsin driver’s license required. Bilingual in Spanish is desirable. Weekend pager rotation is required. Occasional work with hazardous chemicals. Some lifting of tables, chairs, furniture, equipment and supplies (up to 75 lbs.). Knowledge of heating, AC, boilers, plumbing, pneumatics and other commercial equipment.
Victims Assistance & Employee Support Coordinator for parishes and schools
Oversees the Archdiocese of Milwaukee’s response to abuse survivors of clergy sexual abuse by serving as a contact and support for them; serves as a case manager in coordinating access to information, therapy, and other support services; provides outreach to encourage those who have been harmed to seek avenues toward healing and restoration; provides vehicles for and communicates opportunities for other outreach, including to parishes and families who have been affected by abuse and to the Archdiocese at large.
Qualifications – Master’s degree in social work, psychology or a related field. Direct service experience (minimum of five years) working with domestic violence, sexual assault, child abuse or related required.
