In 1984, Kelly Swietlik began her career as a new teacher at St. Francis Borgia Catholic School. As of July 1, 36 years later, Kelly has retired from her role as principal. She dedicated her entire career to our school. She has seen many changes in her time, including the building of a brand-new school at a time when many Catholic schools were closing or consolidating.
Kelly is much beloved by our parish and school community. She is as professional as they come and has deeply cared for each of the students, teachers and families who have come through the doors of our school. I am ersonally grateful for all that she has done here.
And, with that said, I would like to warmly welcome Amy Royes as our new principal. Amy has a wealth of experience in education and comes to us from Shepherd of the Hills Catholic School in Eden. She is passionate about the Catholic faith and Catholic education. I look forward to all that she will bring us!
Please join me in praying for many blessings for Kelly and Amy as they each enter into new beginnings in their lives.
