Fr. Mike’s Last Weekend at SFB
June 14-15, 2008Parishioners fondly said goodbye and wished Fr. Michael Lightner well as he ended his three-year assignment at St. Francis Borgia on June 14-15. Receptions were held after the 5 p.m. Mass on Saturday and after the 9 a.m. Mass on Sunday. There were also opportunities to greet him after he celebrated the 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. Masses. We are grateful for his time with us and the many kinds of service that he provided not only to the parish but also to the greater Catholic community. Fr. Mike’s new assignment is as Director of Campus Ministry at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee Newman Center.
