Vacation Bible Camp (formerly Vacation Bible school / VBS) is a week-long summer catechetical program for children who are in currently in grade K4-grade 5. The program is based on a new theme each year with a variety of stations including a Scripture story, craft, video, game, and treat station. Many youth (middle and high school) and adult volunteers are needed to help Vacation Bible Camp run smoothly.
Vacation Bible Camp in 2018: Shipwrecked
St. Francis Borgia Parish is excited to offer Vacation Bible Camp (VBC) in 2018. This program has been especially created for Catholic children and will provide fun, Scripture, songs, teambuilding, crafts and a daily challenge to celebrate God’s love. The theme is called Shipwrecked and over the week children will learn that “When you’re lonely, when you worry, when you struggle, when you do wrong, and when you’re powerless…Jesus rescues!”
Who: Participants will have completed K4 through Grade 5
Dates: June 25 – June 29
Time: VBC begins promptly at 1:30 p.m. each day and concludes at 4:15 p.m..
Location: North Church Hall
Cost: $20 per child or family maximum $60. (This is to assist with the expenses associated with VBC.)
Deadline: Please submit registration form and fee by June 18.
Forms and payment can be turned in to the parish office during business hours, or placed in the Christian Formation drop box in the North Church gathering space during the week-ends or mailed to the parish office. Please, no e-mail registrations.
Many volunteers are needed to have a successful program. We will need middle school, high school and adult volunteers in a variety of positions, both before June 25 and during the week.

Please note: VBC registration is processed on a first-come, first-served basis. Enrollment is limited. Registrations cannot be accepted on the first day of Vacation Bible Camp.
