Duties and Responsibilities
- Under direction of the Director of Youth Ministry, the Assistant Director of Youth Ministry focuses on the Middle School population at the parish (6th – 8th graders), ensuring that their educational, social, and service programs meet the formation needs of this community. The parish uses the Edge model for middle school formation programming.
- Assists as needed, the High School Life Teen formation program
- Evangelizes and catechizes the middle school population of the parish through teaching and through person-to-person ministry
- Helps to recruit, lead, and support the core team of adults who lead small groups and assist with middle school formation nights
- Ensures regular integration of Eucharistic Adoration and Sacramental Confession into the programing
- Will work with parishioner volunteers to form a Server Guild and Altar Guild and recruit students to participate in these and other liturgical ministries
- This position is designed to be a part-time position
Qualifications
- Active Catholic able to participate in the Sacramental life of the Church.
- Demonstrated knowledge of scripture, tradition, and teachings of the Catholic Church is required.
- Experience leading youth ministry and discipling young people is required.
- Post high school education including a Bachelor’s degree, certification in catechesis, and missionary or ministry work will all be considered.
- Working knowledge in MS Office and Google applications.
- Must have a valid driver’s license for the State of Wisconsin.

Notes: This is a part-time, non-exempt position with an average of 20 hours weekly.
