Children’s Christian Formation Ages 3-Kindergarten

Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (CGS) is a Montessori-based approach to the religious formation of children, rooted in sacred Scripture, liturgy, and respect for the child’s rich relationship with God.

Attention Potential Catechists

  • Would you like to fall in love with God anew?
  • Would you enjoy working with young children?

Please join us for this special opportunity:

Sunday, February 13: Come and See – for potential CGS catechists

11:15 a.m., North Church Hall

We are seeking to build a beautiful and solid foundation for our children, and to do this we need a small army of catechists and assistants interested in taking this life-changing training. Please join us from 11:15-12:15 p.m. in the atrium to come and see what it’s all about. Grab a donut and then join us.

RSVP to Catie Weasler, Director of Child and Family Formation through email. High school students are welcome!

Many catechists find in the training something they have been searching for in their own Catholic formation: The Heart of the Gospel – presented in Scripture and liturgy in a simple, beautiful, quiet and contemplative way – that helps them fall deeply in love with God and gain a new respect for and understanding of the tremendous dignity of the child.
