In Pope Francis’ address to Congress he talked about Thomas Merton and called him one of the most influential Catholic writers of the 20th Century. He also called Merton, a “holy prophet.” On Tuesday, Oct. 13 and again on Thursday, Oct. 15 we’ll have a chance to meet Thomas Merton as we welcome Mark Meade from Bellarmine University. Mark is the assistant director of the Thomas Merton Center at Bellarmine University and a Thomas Merton scholar. All are welcome to come and learn more about this spiritual giant.
On Tuesday evening, Oct. 13, we’ll meet from 6:30-8 p.m. in the library of the new E&AC. The presentation will be repeated on Thursday morning, Oct. 15 from 10 a.m.-11:30 a.m. in the parish center conference room.
For more information or to RSVP, please contact Tracy Dereszysnki, Director of Adult and Family Ministry at 262-377-1070, ext. 250.
