Mass of Thanksgiving and Corpus Christi Procession

Please join us for Fr. Kevin Tanel’s Mass of Thanksgiving at St. Francis Borgia on Sunday, June 11 at 12:00 p.m. at the South Church.

Traditionally, a new priest will return to his home parish to celebrate a special Mass of Thanksgiving after his ordination. As Fr. Kevin’s teaching parish, he will return “home” to St. Francis Borgia to celebrate Mass for our parish community. This is a great opportunity to rejoice with Fr. Kevin for his recent ordination and to pray for his priesthood.

Schedule of Events

12:00 p.m.: Mass at South Church

1:00 p.m.: Eucharistic Procession

2:00 p.m.: Return to South Church

2:15 p.m.: Cookout and Reception.

The Mass of Thanksgiving will be followed by a Eucharistic Procession for the Solemnity of Corpus Christi.

Afterwards all are invited to a cookout sponsored by the Knights of Columbus at the South Church to celebrate Fr. Tanel’s ordination.
