A reflection and wellness workshop sponsored by the School Sisters of St. Francis will be held on Saturday, Jan. 25 from 9 – 11:15 a.m. at the St. Joseph Center, 1501 S. Layton Blvd. in Milwaukee (Greenfield Ave. at 27th St.).
According to the National Institute of Mental Health, more than a third of the adult population in North America experiences anxiety-related wellness issues. Less than half will receive the quality professional care they need. Another significant portion of the population battles with feelings of not measuring up–a general dissatisfaction pandemic in our competitive society.
Take the first step to wellness and spiritual wholeness by being informed about these issues. Author Ann C. Sullivan will be the guest speaker at this workshop.
Committed to helping people break through the misinformation surrounding anxiety, Ann will share her personal journey, using Scripture and advice from the health profession. A much-sought-after inspirational speaker, she is the author of Unsatisfied: Finding Contentment in a Discontented World and Permission to Doubt. (Books will be available for sale at the event.)
