Habitat starting Grafton build

Habitat for Humanity Ozaukee is very excited to be partnering with local churches for our Christian Build this fall in Grafton. Once this home has been completed, the partner family will have an interest free mortgage, will maintain the home and will become active members of the community.

By the end of August we will be breaking ground west of Sendik’s and starting the first half of our duplex build. Once the foundation is in and backfilled, we will be able to start having work crews join us on the site. We plan to have a wall raising celebration in September when we will literally raise the walls of the first floor of the house.

We will be looking for volunteers to help with the build, as well as volunteers to provide lunches for the working crews. Weather permitting, we will be working on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 8:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.

We are excited about this new Habitat build and are looking forward to having St. Francis Borgia members join in to help. Thanks for helping us build lives by building homes.
