Catholic Social Teaching is at the heart of our faith and, like so many parts of our Catholic faith, one with endless opportunities for education and growth. The complexity of this teaching is manifest in the diverse activities of our Human Concerns committees.
Parishioners have likely heard of our activities, such as the House of Peace Christmas Brunch, Uganda Twinning and the Inner City Clothing Ministry, since we often have collections and appeals related to those ministries. However, did you know that we also have a Bereavement Ministry, a Substance Addiction Ministry and a Knit & Crochet Ministry and many others?
You are invited to be the hearts and hands of Christ as part of one of our Human Concerns committees. There is a ministry to fit your interests and talents! If you are interested in learning more about any of these committees/initiatives, please contact the parish office to be connected with the group(s).
