Hello, I’m Gary Fatla, a 50-year member of St. Joseph Parish, a graduate of St. Joseph School, a 20-year military veteran, and a member of American Legion Post 355 & VFW Waubeka Flag Day Post 7037. Also, I do foster care and have worked at St. Francis Borgia School for over 10 years.
Ten years ago I joined the Knights of Columbus, and it’s one of the best decisions I’ve ever made! Being a Knight has helped me grow and give back. As a Knight, I have had great opportunities to put my faith in to action and do my small part to help those in need.
As the largest Catholic men’s organization in the world and with over 100 members from SFB and St.
Joe’s, the KCs are a powerful force for good in our parishes and communities, helping the poor and needy, supporting our priests and seminarians, promoting the teachings of the Church, defending life at all stages, and providing a supportive network of like-minded Catholic men to help you live your faith and raise your family. We are a band of brothers who, with our families, serve Christ and his Church. Google “knights 4520” to view our local website and all that we do … you’ll like what you see!
I know that you would have the same great experience as a Knight, too. That’s why I really think you should join us! So what do you say? Look for us after Mass on Feb. 16-17 or you can join on the Knights of Columbus website (use Council #4520, Grafton/Cedarburg).
