Lent begins with Ash Wednesday on Feb. 10. Prayer is one of the hallmarks of Lent. Spending time praying with the Scriptures that we hear during Lent is always a good practice. To help make that practice a little easier, there will be a three-week miniseries offered for three Sundays during Lent, from Feb. 21 through Mar. 6. The sessions will all be held in the library at the E&AC (new school) from 4:30 – 5:45 p.m. You are welcome to attend one, two or all three!
- Feb. 21: “Where & How to Begin Praying with the Bible”
- Feb. 28: Dr. Gary Neal Hansen, author of Kneeling with Giants, will lead us through Lectio Divina (Holy Reading) of the Bible
- March 6: “Praying with Images and Objects”
