Feast of St. Francis Borgia 2025

On Sunday October 12, St. Francis Borgia Parish in Cedarburg, celebrated its patron saint’s Feast Day during the 10 A.M. Mass which was con-celebrated by Fr. Patrik Burns and Rev. Deogratias Fikiri, S.J. The Mass concluded with a procession of over 200 parishioners led by an Honor Guard of Knights of Columbus, the con-celebrants and Knights and parish men carrying the statue of our Jesuit patron saint, and the church choir. The procession ended in the parish hall, with a feast day communal meal hosted by the parish’s San Salvador Knights Council. The parish and the Knights are grateful for the gift of sweet potato pies from its sister parish St Rose of Lima in Milwaukee. All who attended were nourished both spiritually and physically.

Eucharistic Procession

June 14, 2020
On June 14, the Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ (Corpus Christi), our
pastor Father Patrick Burns, preceded by servers and Fr. John Burns, led parishioners in a Eucharistic Procession at the end of the 10 a.m. Mass. Many participated on this beautiful day, following Fr. Patrick with the monstrance from the church across and around our parish grounds. They paused to kneel and pray in a grassy area along Hwy NN. The procession continued back into the church where the Eucharist was then reposed. Having a Eucharistic Procession is a beautiful tradition of the Catholic Church, which deepens our devotion to the Eucharist and is a public witness to our faith in the Real Presence.
