“Panorama of the Old Testament”

Is the Old Testament a mystery to you? Have you ever wondered why we read from the Old Testament during Mass? Is the Old Testament still relevant to us today? All of these questions and more will be answered and explored in a six-week series that takes a panoramic view of the Old Testament.

There will be two sessions for this series: Tuesday evenings Sept. 27 – Nov. 1 from 6:30 – 8 p.m. in the Education & Activity Center (E&AC) library OR Thursday mornings Sept. 29 – Nov. 3 from 10- 11:30 a.m. in the church hall.

After we complete this first journey through the Old Testament, you are invited back during Advent to meet Matthew, the Gospel writer, and take a look at how Matthew reaches back to the Old Testament some 150 times in his gospel.

There is an optional book for “Panorama of the Old Testament” and it will be used again during the Advent season. You can order one when you register.

To register, contact Tracy at 262-377-1070, ext. 250, send an email, or see the Adult Formation page for a registration form and details.
