The St. Francis Borgia Christian Women’s Circle (formerly the Women’s Guild) is open to all adult women of the parish. Our mission is spirituality and service.
The Christian Women’s Circle is a charitable organization supporting our parish, its school and those devoted to religious life. The group seeks to promote a greater spirituality among its members and to extend this to our families, our parish, and our community and beyond. Additionally, it works to address the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of both those in our own community and in our sister parish, St. Paul, in Mukono, Uganda.
The group meets regularly at 6 p.m. on the third Tuesday of the month at the South Church (lower level church hall). Please plan to attend and be part of this friendly and energetic group. For the October meeting, please note that access to the church is limited to Hamilton Road, due to the road construction in downtown Cedarburg.
The group is excited to bring back the Christmas bake sale and they will be working on plans for that event. They have also been asked to consider another outreach event involving our twinning parish in Uganda.
In recent years, the Christmas Bake Sale has been the only fundraiser for the group’s charitable work.
