Please join us on the National Day of Remembrance for the Unborn for a solemn gathering as we commemorate the more than 60 million children lost to legal abortion since Roe v Wade in 1973. Our remembrance will be Saturday, Sept. 14 at 11 a.m. at St. Francis Borgia Cemetery, 7963 Pioneer Rd.
In addition, thanks to the generosity of our parish members and the Knights of Columbus, we will be dedicating the newly installed Infants’ Memorial at our parish cemetery. Recent research using ground-penetrating radar at the SFB cemetery has uncovered 197 unmarked graves, including one area that contains 46 graves of stillborn and very young infants born to poor parents unable to afford proper burial. Join us as we honor these unknown and forgotten souls.
Prayer will be led by Fr. Patrick Burns. This event is sponsored by the Knights of Columbus and the Respect Life Committee. Questions? Please contact the Parish Office.
