Last week’s bulletin shared several of the endeavors that have been going on during the pandemic to assist others. We’d like to share one more.
A special payment was authorized to assist our friends at St. Paul Parish in Mukono, Uganda with their food shortages due to COVID-19. As of this writing, no one has died from COVID, but many have died of hunger and other diseases. The funds purchased more than 500 pounds of posho (a type of corn meal) and 220 pounds of beans. Both of these items are staples in the Ugandan diet. Our twinning parish was delighted with this gift!
Amen, I say to you, whatever you did for one of these least brothers of mine, you did for me.
