Substance Abuse Ministry: “A Light in the Darkness of Addiction – A Story of Hope”

The St. Francis Borgia (SAM) Substance Addiction Ministry will welcome Pete and Sharon Giersch to their October gathering on Thursday, Oct. 10 at 7 p.m. in the North Church hall. Pete and Sharon want to share their testimony as a family whose son Nick found “HOPE” at Comunita Cenecola.

The Giersch Family shares: “Our family has suffered the effects of addiction for many years – physically, emotionally, financially, relationally and of course, personally. Our youngest son, Nick, struggled from an early age with addictive behavior. We saw therapists, tried the medications, behavioral therapy and many different types of schools, rehab, etc. all of which left us empty and broken.”

Please join us on Thursday, Oct. 10 to hear the rest of their story.

The SAM Prayer Support Group will meet in church from 6:15-6:45 p.m. before the event. All are invited to join them.
