Child Ministry: Sunday morning programming

K3, K4, K5 classes

Programming for our prekindergarten youngsters takes place three Sundays each month during the 10 a.m. Mass from October through March. The children gather in the church hall classrooms. The program is totally Catholic with developmentally appropriate curriculum at each age level.

Having children participate in this program offers parents an opportunity to reflect more fully on the Sunday Scriptures
and the homily.

The sessions are open to all K3, K4 and K5 children. St. Francis Borgia School students are also invited to join us.

Children’s Liturgy of the Word

Children from ages K4 through Grade 3 are invited to participate in an opportunity to hear the Sunday scriptures in child-friendly language.

Children’s Liturgy of the Word will be offered on the 4th and 5th Sunday (if there is a 5th Sunday) of the month during
the 10 a.m. Mass in the church hall.

Family Sunday School

This opportunity is offered after the 10 a.m. Mass for our families and our youngest parishioners. There will be light refreshments, prayer, Bible story and a variety of activities. All families are invited, but programming will be geared toward families with children in grade K5 and younger.

Our next Family Sunday School will be Sunday, Jan. 20. The theme will be “Love, a Cardinal Virtue.”
