Support parishioner Mikaela Janes’ focus on young people

Hello! My name is Mikaela Janes. I have been a parishioner of St. Francis Borgia, where I received my First Communion and Confirmation, since 2004. I graduated from Germantown High School in 2015 and Drake University in May of this year.

After studying health sciences/biology and rowing at the NCAA Division I level at Drake, the Lord has called me to serve full-time as a college campus missionary with FOCUS, the Fellowship of Catholic University Students. On Aug. 10, I headed to the University of South Dakota to lead students in Bible study, to walk with them in 1:1 discipleship mentoring, and to engage the new evangelization on campus.

Our goal is simple: to draw others into relationship with Jesus Christ and to share with them the beauty of the Catholic Church.

I need your help in order to reach this generation of college students. If you are interested in learning more about my story and this mission please contact me through the parish office.

If you feel capable and called to join me as a monthly mission partner committed to financial and spiritual support, you can access my support page at: https://www.focus.org/missionaries/mikaela-janes

May God bless you! Peace! ~ Mikaela Janes
