“Glory to God in the highest and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests.” ~ Luke 2:14
Jesus came into the world in poverty – wrapped in swaddling clothes and laid in a manger. God chose to announce the birth of our Savior to the shepherds, poor workers living in the fields nearby. The poorest in our world hold a special place in the heart of God.
On this feast of the Holy Family, we are truly amazed at the generosity and love displayed here at St. Francis Borgia. This Advent Season, we collected Christmas gifts for 19 families in need and donated close to $5,000 to the House of Peace Food Pantry – all while sharing Christ’s unending love.
Thank you so much for your abundant generosity to the House of Peace and the Gifts for the Sisters. You are truly living out Christ’s call to serve.
