Cold weather help needed – blankets and more

Our Inner City Ministry has been asked to assist in filling an urgent need for blankets for those served by the MacCanon Brown Homeless Sanctuary in one of Milwaukee’s poorest neighborhoods. If you have clean, gently-used (or new!) blankets that you would like to donate, please bring them to our temporary drop-off area. (See below.) Donations of clean, new or gently-used coats, hats, gloves and other cold weather apparel would also be appreciated. Please make sure the items are in wearable condition.

Drivers from our Inner City Ministry will make additional trips to the city to ensure that the donations get there in a timely manner. If you are interested in assisting with our Inner City Ministry or learning more about it, please contact the parish office.

(Temporary) Donation drop-off site:

Because of snow plow damage to our Inner City Ministry shed, we are temporarily using the gathering space in the North Church for the donations described above. These donations can be dropped off in the gathering space when the church is open — during parish business hours, and before or after weekend Masses.
