What is the Journey Program?

It is a ministry serving the parishes in and near Washington County that brings our friends of all ages with physical, developmental and intellectual disabilities on a journey together to learn the Catholic faith, including celebrating the sacraments.

Our friends are integrated into the faith community of their home parishes by volunteering, participating in events/fellowship and Mass. Additionally, they participate in parish and county-wide service projects and love to socialize and make new friends.

The Journey Ministry is hosting “We Are All Wonderfully Made,” a morning retreat of faith for children ages 6-14 with developmental and cognitive disabilities. It will take place Saturday, Aug. 14 from 9-11:30 a.m. at St. Mary’s Immaculate Conception Parish, 406 Jefferson St. in West Bend. The cost is $10.

You are invited to visit their Facebook page for a video. You can also learn more about the program online at JourneyCatholicMinistry.org. Contact information for Christina Spindler, Director of Journey, can be found at the bottom of the Journey Catholic Ministry website.
