SFB Students visit Milwaukee Art Museum

On Tuesday, May 1, St. Francis Borgia Catholic School’s first and second grade students had their art class at the Milwaukee Art Museum. They toured the galleries discovering and discussing what can be found in various paintings, who the artists are, and what techniques were used to create those works of art. SFB students will use their skills and new knowledge to create their own works of art based on the style and subject matter observed on their field trip to the museum. This field trip to the Milwaukee Art Museum was made possible by a Kohl’s grant.
