Stewardship

Stewardship calls each of us to support our parish through generous giving of our time, talent and treasure.

Stewardship is not only a way to give back to the parish; it also is a way to become involved, to meet people, and to feel a part of the Catholic community. Please make a commitment to be actively involved in St. Francis Borgia Parish through all three of the following:

Time

ATTENDING MASS

Please join all of us in your parish family on weekends and holy days as we gather together, sing God’s praises, listen to His Word, and celebrate the Eucharist.

Talent

OFFERING YOUR TIME AND TALENTS

Offer your time and talent as service to the parish community.

Treasure

GIVING FINANCIAL SUPPORT

Provide financial support to our parish, especially through an annual Stewardship Offertory pledge.

LIFE IS YOUR GIFT TO US

God, life is Your gift to us.

Through Baptism, You invite us to share the gift of life in service to others.

Be with us as we choose each day to show Your presence in our world. Give us the courage to respond to Your call.

We pray especially for those who serve You in all ministries here in our parish. May they continue to bear the Good News through their words and action.

Open the minds and hearts of the many, that they may accept Your challenge to build the kingdom in our parish. Lord Jesus,

You tell us that the meaning of life consists in giving. Help us to realize that it is not riches or power, or fame that gives life meaning. Rather, it is generosity and service to You and others that brings true fulfillment and makes life worthwhile.

May all of our service help us to build Your Kingdom.

Amen
