Catechists are needed during the 10 a.m. Mass to assist with the Liturgy of the Word for Children (LWC). This program provides an opportunity for children ages 6 through 10, to hear the Sunday Scriptures in child-friendly language.
Teacher resources are provided. Catechists are encouraged to work in teams and experienced catechists will be happy to mentor new catechists. You will join the rotation of teachers and so will not be expected to be there every week.
