You are invited to join Lumen Christi parishioners June 10-22, 2020 for a trip that will feature the 42nd world-famous Passion Play in Oberammergau, Germany. The itinerary also includes visits to Munich, Vienna and Budapest.
The Passion Play dates back to 1633 when in the middle of the Thirty Years War, after months of suffering and death from the plague, the Oberammergau villagers swore an oath that they would perform the “Play of the Suffering, Death and Resurrection of Our Lord Jesus Christ” every ten years. Ever since then, the villagers have fulfilled their promise to God.
