Our parish share of the campaign funds
The largest component of the Love One Another (LOA) Campaign is strengthening our parishes. Sixty percent of all pledges made and fulfilled by St. Francis Borgia families will go toward needs of our parish, including:
- North Church improvements: We join together every weekend to worship God at our Sunday Masses. In order to ensure that we are serving our parishioners and visitors well, and to protect the future of this space, we need to make improvements. These include enhancing our outdoor plaza and roof replacement on all parish buildings.
- Eliminate the Education & Activity Center mortgage: In 2015 our parish and school communities were able to take the amazing step of building a new Education & Activity Center. Through the LOA capital campaign, we will eliminate the debt in full which will allow us to focus more deeply on our mission.
- South Church renovations: The South Church is a beacon of faith and Catholicism in our community. We utilize this site for our daily Mass, weddings, select Masses, as well as Eucharistic Adoration. With Adoration, this Church has been revitalized and is a center for prayer throughout the week for parishioners and visitors alike. The LOA campaign will allow us to restore the original beauty of the space by doing work that includes restoring and installing beautiful altars, as well as redoing the floors and repainting the interior of the church. It will also allow us to do maintenance that includes tuck pointing and bell tower restoration.
