Photos of Parish Life All Saints Day Party 2021 November 3, 2021On Wednesday, Nov. 3, children from St. Francis Borgia's St. Bonaventure Choir and Christian Formation program celebrated All Saints' Day with a heavenly party. Children played saint-themed games and met "saints alive" who shared about their lives. A saint costume contest produced some very holy guests. The children prepared for the event by learning about a saint of their choice and completing a saint project, which was entered in a contest. Thank you to everyone who made this party possible. All you holy saints and angels, pray for us. 2023 All Souls Day Mass 2023 Rosary Across America Vocation Night 2023 Fr. The photos in this gallery were taken at the 10 a.m. Mass, which started outdoors at the entrance to our Marian Shrine, with the reading of the Gospel about Jesus’ triumphant entry into Jerusalem. From there—palms in hand—parishioners processed into church for the blessing of the palms and Mass, including a reading of the Passion. May Crowning May 7, 2017One of the defining aspects of being Catholic is our devotion to Mary, the mother of God. May Crowning is the Catholic tradition of recognizing and celebrating Mary, our Heavenly Mother as the queen of heaven and earth. On May 7, recent First Communicants, their families and other parishioners gathered on the plaza after the 10 a.m. Mass at the North Church. From there, they processed with Fr. Patrick Burns to our Marian shrine (the Shrine to Mary, Mother of the Divine Word). The children wore their First Communion attire. One of the children placed a wreath of flowers on the head of the statue of Mary, other flowers were placed at the shrine in Mary’s honor. View more photos from previous years
