Photos of Parish Life Palm Sunday 2023 Palm Sunday was celebrated on Sunday, April 2, marking the start of Holy Week. Parishioners had the option to take part in an optional gospel procession at the 10 a.m. Mass that took place on the North Church Plaza and returning into the North Church for Mass. Good Friday 2021 April 2, 2021The Easter Triduum continued with the service on Good Friday afternoon, celebrating Jesus’ saving death on the wood of the cross. This included the Passion narrative from St. John’s Gospel and veneration of the cross -- with the congregation coming forward to gaze at the cross and offer a gesture of respect to all that it represents. 2022 Christmas Vigil 2022 Rorate Caeli Candlelight Mass 2022 All Saints Day 2022 Fr. John Burns, led parishioners in a Eucharistic Procession at the end of the 10 a.m. Mass. Many participated on this beautiful day, following Fr. Patrick with the monstrance from the church across and around our parish grounds. They paused to kneel and pray in a grassy area along Hwy NN. The procession continued back into the church where the Eucharist was then reposed. Having a Eucharistic Procession is a beautiful tradition of the Catholic Church, which deepens our devotion to the Eucharist and is a public witness to our faith in the Real Presence. Holy Thursday 2019 April 18, 2019Holy Thursday is the day that Catholics commemorate the three pillars of their faith: the sacrament of the Holy Eucharist, the priesthood, and the Mass. Father Patrick Burns presided at the Holy Thursday Mass of the Last Supper, held at 7 p.m. This was the beginning of the Easter Triduum celebration. The washing of the feet, symbolic of Jesus washing the feet of the apostles, is an important element of Holy Thursday. At the conclusion of the liturgy, the congregation processed to the lower church for prayer and adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. 2019 Uganda Visitors 2019 175th Anniversary Brunch and History Gallery Parish 175th Anniversary Mass with the Archbishop Pet Blessing 2019 Parish Mission Fish Fry and Bingo 2019 Dedication of Infants’ Memorial Fr.
