Photos of Parish Life Corpus Christi Procession 2023 On Sunday, June 11, 2023 we celebrated the Feast of Corpus Christi. Fr. Kevin Tanel celebrated the Mass at 12 p.m. at the South Church which was also his first Mass at St. Francis Borgia after his recent ordination to the priesthood. A Eucharistic Procession followed Mass, and the Knights of Columbus held a cookout following the procession for all in attendance. Good Friday 2021 April 2, 2021The Easter Triduum continued with the service on Good Friday afternoon, celebrating Jesus’ saving death on the wood of the cross. This included the Passion narrative from St. John’s Gospel and veneration of the cross -- with the congregation coming forward to gaze at the cross and offer a gesture of respect to all that it represents. 2022 Christmas Vigil 2022 Rorate Caeli Candlelight Mass 2022 All Saints Day 2022 Fr. John Burns, led parishioners in a Eucharistic Procession at the end of the 10 a.m. Mass. Many participated on this beautiful day, following Fr. Patrick with the monstrance from the church across and around our parish grounds. They paused to kneel and pray in a grassy area along Hwy NN. The procession continued back into the church where the Eucharist was then reposed. Having a Eucharistic Procession is a beautiful tradition of the Catholic Church, which deepens our devotion to the Eucharist and is a public witness to our faith in the Real Presence. 2020 Eucharistic Procession Eucharistic Miracles Exhibit Clergy and Leadership Appreciation Banquet 2020 Visit to Uganda 2017 August 3 – 13, 2017In August 2017, a team of nine parish “pilgrims” departed for a visit to our sister parish, St. Paul the Apostle Parish, in Mukono, Uganda. Their plan included visiting many families, along with schools and other sites. Among the stops was St. Francis Borgia High School, built with the generous donations of our parishioners and named in our honor. Enrollment had reached 600 students, which was up 200 children from two years prior. Photos in this gallery illustrate various aspects of St. Paul Parish in Mukono that were experienced on this visit to Uganda. View more photos from previous years
