Photos of Parish Life Food Blessing and Easter Vigil 2023 Blessing of the FoodAll were invited to bring any food and ingredients that were used in Easter meal preparation on Sat., April 8 at 12 p.m. on the North Church Plaza. It is tradition to bring the Easter food to Church in order to give thanksgiving to God for the food and for the fellowship that we are about to share.Easter VigilEaster Vigil began at 8 p.m. at the North Church with the lighting of the Easter candle on the North Church Plaza. Afterwards parishioners processed into the Church with their lights candles to celebrate Jesus rising from the dead. 12 people were welcomed into the Church that night. Following Mass, a reception was held in the North Church to celebrate the new members into the Catholic Faith. Divine Mercy Sunday - Chaplet and Benediction 2021 April 11, 2021A special service was held on Sunday afternoon, April 11, in celebration of Divine Mercy Sunday. Parishioners joined Fr. Patrick at the South Church at 3 p.m. for the Chaplet of Divine Mercy and Benediction. A framed image of the Divine Mercy is to the right of the sanctuary. Matthew Welcome Weekend Deacon Kevin's First Sermon Corpus Christi Procession 2022 May Crowning 2022 Easter Vigil and Easter Sunday 2022 Holy Thursday and Good Friday 2022 Clergy and Leadership Appreciation Banquet 2020 February 5, 2020The Knights of Columbus held the 2020 Clergy and Leadership Appreciation Banquet on Wednesday, February 5 at The Hub on Cedar Creek. Over 100 parishioners turned out to celebrate the sacramental gift of holy orders and to honor those serving in ministry at St. Francis Borgia and St. Joseph parishes. Attendees enjoyed fellowship, a delicious meal, and an inspirational talk by Anne Haines, Respect Life Director of Urban Ministry for the Archdiocese of Milwaukee. Honorees in attendance included Fr. Patrick Burns, Fr. Steve Lampe, deacons Scott Wiese and Al Lazaga, and seminarians Tim Schumaker and Kevin Tanel. Other honorees unable to attend were St. Joseph parish director Brenda Cline, deacons Dick Govek and Don Kabara, and several help-out priests. In honor of our guests, the San Salvador Council presented checks to our priests totaling $2,500 to support Catholic education at St. Francis Borgia and St. Joseph parishes; seminarian scholarships totaling $2,500 to Tim and Kevin; and other individual gifts of appreciation. Easter Sunday 2019 April 21, 2019On Easter Sunday morning, April 21, parishioners were greeted in a beautiful setting, with the altar and sanctuary adorned by bountiful Easter lilies and spring flowers. The Easter Sunday Masses brought back joyful singing and many alleluias to celebrate that Jesus Christ is risen! Catholics everywhere were reminded of their baptismal faith in Christ, and all were sprinkled with new water from the font. These photos were taken at the 9 a.m. Mass at the North Church, with Fr.
