The parish-sponsored Boy Scout Troop 3802 held its annual Pinewood Derby in the Church Hall on Saturday, January 30. Scouts and their family members enjoyed an afternoon racing masterfully sculpted cars, discussing Pinewood Derby speed tricks, relishing the joys of victory and languishing in the agony of defeat! Following the 10 a.m. 175th Anniversary Mass on October 6, our school hosted a celebratory brunch and history gallery. The celebration included a complimentary continental breakfast and gallery exhibits prepared by grade level, telling the history of St. Francis Borgia Parish through our students’ eyes. Students worked on these exhibits throughout the 2018-2019 school year. This event celebrated 175 years and the children’s hard work.
