Ash Wednesday 2023

St. Francis Borgia Parish celebrated Ash Wednesday on Wednesday, February 22, 2023. Ash Wednesday marks the first day of the season of Lent. During the Mass, ashes are placed on each individual's forehead in the shape of a cross to represent repentance for sin.

Boy Scout Advancement Ceremony

May 17, 2016Boy Scouts from St. Francis Borgia Parish Pack 3802 finished the year with an advancement ceremony on the parish grounds. On Tuesday, May 17, scouts and their family members enjoyed a cool evening around a roaring bonfire, roasting marshmallows and playing games. The colors were presented, the Pledge of Allegiance was recited, prayer was offered and special scouting achievements were honored. Click to view gallery.

Blessing of Pets 2021

The annual blessing of pets took place Sunday afternoon, Oct. 3, on the plaza at the North Church. This event helped us celebrate the feast day of St. Francis of Assisi, the patron saint of animals. Fr. Patrick Burns provided the blessing; he was assisted by seminarian Kevin Tanel.
