Boy Scout Advancement Ceremony
May 17, 2016Boy Scouts from St. Francis Borgia Parish Pack 3802 finished the year with an advancement ceremony on the parish grounds. On Tuesday, May 17, scouts and their family members enjoyed a cool evening around a roaring bonfire, roasting marshmallows and playing games. The colors were presented, the Pledge of Allegiance was recited, prayer was offered and special scouting achievements were honored. "Encountering God as Men" Series

March 23, 2021
In honor of St. Joseph -- the patron of fathers, families and the universal Church -- the second of the two-part "Encountering God as Men" series for men was held Tuesday evening, Mar. 23, at the North Church. The event included reflections on St. Joseph by parishioner Joe Bassindale. Participants also heard inspiring talks and personal stories of encountering God in suffering and in love, by guest speaker Bruce A. Lanser.

Uganda Visitors 2019

October 12-13, 2019
Six members of St. Paul the Apostle Parish in Mukono arrived here in October 2019, marking the tenth time our two faith communities have exchanged visitors since 2001. They joined us for various activities including two Sunday Masses. The first was on October 6 to help us celebrate our 175th Anniversary Mass and celebratory brunch. The following Sunday, October 13, St. Paul’s pastor Fr. Paul Ssebitoogo delivered a mission appeal at weekend Masses. The purpose was to raise awareness and financial support for the mission work done in the Lugazi Diocese, in which St. Paul Parish is located. Afterwards, our parishioners and visitors enjoyed hospitality in the North Church gathering space.
