Corpus Christi Procession 2023

On Sunday, June 11, 2023 we celebrated the Feast of Corpus Christi. Fr. Kevin Tanel celebrated the Mass at 12 p.m. at the South Church which was also his first Mass at St. Francis Borgia after his recent ordination to the priesthood. A Eucharistic Procession followed Mass, and the Knights of Columbus held a cookout following the procession for all in attendance.
Boy Scout Advancement Ceremony
May 17, 2016Boy Scouts from St. Francis Borgia Parish Pack 3802 finished the year with an advancement ceremony on the parish grounds. On Tuesday, May 17, scouts and their family members enjoyed a cool evening around a roaring bonfire, roasting marshmallows and playing games. The colors were presented, the Pledge of Allegiance was recited, prayer was offered and special scouting achievements were honored. Holy Thursday 2019

Holy Thursday is the day that Catholics commemorate the three pillars of their faith: the sacrament of the Holy Eucharist, the priesthood, and the Mass. Father Patrick Burns presided at the Holy Thursday Mass of the Last Supper, held at 7 p.m. This was the beginning of the Easter Triduum celebration. The washing of the feet, symbolic of Jesus washing the feet of the apostles, is an important element of Holy Thursday. At the conclusion of the liturgy, the congregation processed to the lower church for prayer and adoration of the Blessed Sacrament.
