June 25-26, 2016 On June 25-26, our new Associate Pastor, Fr. Patrick Burns, concelebrated the Saturday evening and Sunday Masses with Pastor Fr. Tom Eichenberger. Fr. Patrick, who grew up in Mequon, was ordained a priest in May 2013 by Archbishop Jerome Listecki. He served his first three years as an associate pastor at St. Charles Parish in Hartland. In his homily, Fr. Patrick expressed appreciation for the opportunity to serve the parish and described the historic south church as the “crown of downtown Cedarburg.” We feel blessed to have Fr. November 3, 2021On Wednesday, Nov. 3, children from St. Francis Borgia's St. Bonaventure Choir and Christian Formation program celebrated All Saints' Day with a heavenly party. Children played saint-themed games and met "saints alive" who shared about their lives. A saint costume contest produced some very holy guests. The children prepared for the event by learning about a saint of their choice and completing a saint project, which was entered in a contest. Thank you to everyone who made this party possible. All you holy saints and angels, pray for us.
May 9, 2019On Thursday, May 9, Archbishop Jerome Listecki confirmed 54 of our high school juniors. It was a wonderful evening of celebration. Our pastor, Fr. Patrick Burns, concelebrated the Mass. Those confirmed received the empowerment, grace or gift of the Holy Spirit. The seven gifts of the Holy Spirit are: wisdom, understanding, knowledge, counsel, fortitude, piety and fear of the Lord. May the gifts the candidates received in Confirmation be with them as they become adults.
